Creative mission for Flint's Carriage Town Ministries means eating donuts for a great cause.

Jazelle Hysko is only 10 years old but she's working to make sure everyone stays warm as the winter months approach.

The Charles Stewart Mott Foundation has announced the awarding of $785,000 in grants among several Genesee County organizations. The grants will help meet basic needs of area residents struggling with food, shelter and clothing.
