Girl Scout Troop 75722 out of Swartz Creek is ready to see the world and they need your help. They are competing for a travel scholarship contest sponsored by EF Tours for Girls. The Girls Empowerment Travel Scholarship contest awards the winning Girl Scout troop a $20,000 travel scholarship to use by the summer of 2023.

EF Tours for Girls mentions on their website the goal behind offering such an incredible opportunity through the contest saying,

"Our sole focus is helping girls discover more about themselves, create connections with other people, and take action to make the world a better place—all by combining experiential learning with the thrill of travel. EF-provided resources, including guided prompts and the opportunity to earn college credit, ensure that girls get the most out of their travel experience."

Here's How to Win a Chance to Travel Abroad

To win, Troop 75722 needed to submit a video explaining why they want to travel the world, and what their goals are from their exciting journey.  From all of the submissions, just the three videos that receive the most “Likes” will advance to the final selection.  The EF Tours for Girls team will then select the winning video, and the winning troop will be announced on March 8, which is, fittingly, International Women’s Day.

How You Can Help Troop 75722 Win?

Troop leader Raegen Genovesi told us that if the group wins, the scouts hope to travel to London and Paris, and you can make that dream a reality.

"The girls have serviced Genesee Country, Swartz Creek, and surrounding areas as well, and now they're ready to look abroad and learn something new and bring it back to the community to make them better Girl Scouts", Genovesi told us.

Simply head to the link here, and "LIKE" their special video. It's that easy! You can also search their entry on the EF Tours for Girls website. You can also scan the code below.
