
Study: Fist Bumps Healthier Than Handshakes
A new study out says bumping fists is better than shaking hands. While a handshake has "long been a mark of good manners and elevated social skills" a new study says its also a "very germy way to greet" others. According to the Detroit Free Press, handshakes are much worse than fist bumps or high-fives. The study showed that handshakes transmit about 10 times more bacteria than fist bumps and about two times more bacteria than high-fives. How do you greet others?
