It's hard to believe it has been over a year since London Eisenbeis passed away suddenly from an undetected heart condition. Since that time her mother Eleni (Tina) has made it her mission to make sure no other parent would suffer such a loss.

Eleni has become a tireless advocate to make sure screenings are done on young children and the importance of AED/CPR training. Eleni feels strongly that both of those things may have saved her daughter's life.

In conjunction with her efforts through the London Strong Foundation, the 2nd Annual London Strong "Set Your Dreams" 5k Run/Walk is planned for July 25th in Grand Blanc. Set Your Dreams" has become a mantra for the organization and is a quote from London herself.

The event will take place at Creasey Bicentennial Park starting at 6:00 p.m. and you can register now by clicking here. There is even a special Kitten Caboodle kids run for children 8 and under. The evening will also have pizza and water provided for all participants as well as a bounce house, vendors, and more.

Sponsorships play a big role in the success of the event according to Eleni, and there are currently several available levels still up for grabs. For more information on how you can become a sponsor or about the London Strong Foundation please go to LondonStrongFoundation.org.
