Oxford High School survivor Phoebe Arthur was finally released from Hurley Medical Center in Flint over the weekend.

Phoebe Arthur, 14, is one of the survivors of the November 30 killings at Oxford High School. While she was one of the survivors, she was also a gunshot victim. Arthur spent the last week at Hurley Medical Center in Flint recovering from gunshot wounds to her chest and neck.

Apparently, her friend kept her safe, was holding her, praying with her, and was even putting compressions on her wounds to try and stop the bleeding. Her friend stayed right by her side until the paramedics arrived. Just thinking about that moment sends chills up my spine.

It's hard to not get emotional when thinking about her coming home to her family for the first time since the tragic incident that took place at Oxford High School last week. If she was my daughter I would hold onto her and never let go.

How Many Oxford High School Victims Are Still in the Hospital?

A 17-year-old girl is in stable condition at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital. Her condition was updated over the weekend by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.

Hopefully, she'll be released soon.
