New Attractions Coming to Cedar Point This Season
Cedar Point is gearing up for their 2017 season with some new attractions.
Four all new water attractions will debut May 27th as part of Cedar Point Shores Water Park. The 18 acre water park is located adjacent to Hotel Breakers and Cedar Point. Point Plummet, one of the new attractions, is a six story aqua drop slide, with a nearly free fall experience.
The Iron Dragon is also getting a makeover for the 2017 season, Cedar Point is combining the thrills of the Iron Dragon ride with the virtual reality world. According to the Norwalk Reflector, "Guests on Iron Dragon: VR will wear a special virtual reality headset while riding the Iron Dragon roller coaster, immersing them in a whole new world while the ride swings, dives and sways throughout the course. In the alternate world of the headsets, menacing ogres, angry villagers and flying creatures will attempt to disrupt a peaceful carriage ride."
There are many other changes to the park's entertainment, food, and rides for this season. A park favorite, the RipCord, makes a new debut this season as the Frontier Fling. See what other changes are coming this year here.
