Gotta keep those puppers warm, don't we?

A bill has been proposed in Lansing that would require pet owners to bring their dogs inside when temps dip below freezing.

State Rep. Darrin Camilleri has introduced legislation that would make it illegal to leave a dog tied up outside for more than a half-hour when temperatures exceed 90 degrees or fall below 32.

Other states that have laws in place like this include Nevada, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Texas, New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts.

Frankly, I say that IT'S ABOUT TIME! We put animals to sleep humanely when they're suffering, but it's still legal for people to leave their pets tied up when it's -20 outside? Hogwash. What do YOU think?
