Job Fair Happening This Tuesday In Flint
A multi-employer job fair is happening this week at the Flint Service Center located on Saginaw St.
This would mark the second big job fair with a month here in Flint. This should be a huge sign that jobs are available and employers NEED workers! I wish I had half the opportunities that are floating around right now. When I was a young adult looking for a job I had to bring a sword with me to job fairs. The competition was pretty fierce because jobs were scarce. Now, they're giving away good-paying jobs. You brats are spoiled.

GST Michigan Works is hosting a job fair from 1- 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at its Flint Service Center, 711 N. Saginaw St., in Flint.

Take advantage of the current work environment and put yourself out there. Even if you don't have any of the skills needed for the job apply anyway! You can reach a high-level position in any company as long as you get your foot through the door. And these jobs fairs are like Willy Wonka tickets to a happier and higher-paying job/career. Put yourself out there, and have confidence. You'd be surprised at what you can accomplish if you just try.
