The former owners of Troy Cleaners are behind the Taco Bell openings in Genesee County.
Otisville's Old Marina and Otie's Restaurants No More
For decades, Otis-villains(?) would get pizza and a cold beer at The Marina. Some folks will remember the owner, by his first name, Bruno.
Most recently, Otie's was the hang out spot for a new generation, but things change. This time, a lot.
The old building is gone... ushering in a new era in front of McCormick and Picnic Lakes.
New Taco Bell taking shape on M-15 in Otisville
Demolition and construction have been going on for a couple of months now.
You can see the design taking shape.
From M-15 looking northeast is the shell of the building already painted in Taco Bell's signature colors.
The inside of the structure hasn't been developed too much at this time.
It won't be too long before the restaurant is finished. They're currently hiring, too.
Thankfully, the old Otie's building wasn't empty for long. Nobody wants a blight situation.
We'll keep you posted on a grand opening date for the cheesy, melty goodness as soon as the information is made available.
