
Frozen Meals Sold at Michigan Walmart, Kroger + Others Recalled
Nestle USA is recalling two popular brands of frozen meals because they may contain 'wood like material.'
Frozen meals from Lean Cuisine and Stouffer's have been sold at Walmart, Kroger, and Giant stores in Michigan and throughout the US.
Details of the Frozen Food Recall
Nestle USA initiated the voluntary recall and is fully cooperating with the US Food and Drug Administration and the Department of Agriculture.

The recall was initiated after customers contacted the company. There has been one potential choking report, according to the announcement on the FDA's website.
The recall is limited to the following Lean Cuisine and Stouffer's products:
- Lean Cuisine Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry with the following batch number:
4214595511
- Lean Cuisine Butternut Squash Ravioli with the following batch numbers:
4261595912, 4283595912, 4356595912, 5018595912, and 5038595912
- Lean Cuisine Spinach Artichoke Ravioli with the following batch numbers:
4311595912, 5002595912, 5037595912, and 5064595912
- Stouffer's party size Chicken Lasagna with the following batch numbers:
4262595915, 4351595915, 5051595915, and 5052595915
The products were produced between August 2024 and March 2025. They were sold between September 2024 and March 2025.

What Should You Do if You Have These Products in Your Freezer?
The FDA's website provides specific batch numbers and 'Best if used by' dates for the recalled products, noting that no other Lean Cuisine or Stouffer's products are included in the recall.
If you have these products in your freezer, you should not prepare or consume them. They should be returned to the store where they were purchased for a replacement or full refund.
