
Authorities Investigating After Amtrak Train Collides With Vehicle in Flint
Investigators are working to piece together what happened after an early morning accident involving an SUV and an Amtrak train in Flint.
The accident occurred around 7 am Tuesday (2/4) near the intersection of VanSlyke and 12 Street, near the General Motors Flint Assembly Plant.

Few details are available at this time but in the video below you can see that there is extensive damage to the white vehicle that collided with the train. The train remained stopped across the roadway for several hours while teams of authorities investigated the collision.

At this time, we are unsure if there were any fatalities or to what degree anyone involved in the accident was injured.
