Whether you are a diehard fan of America's Got Talent or not, you're familiar with Simon Cowell, the judge everyone is out to impress. And it is no secret that Simon is rather opinionated (to say the least) when it comes to the types of performers he likes.

In AGT's early years, Simon made it clear on a few occasions that he was not a huge fan of ventriloquism. But performers like Terry Fator, with a current net worth of over $160M, and Darci Lynne, with a current net worth of over $6M, helped him realize through the years that there was something to be said for ventriloquist acts after all.

12-Year-Old Paw Paw, Michigan Girl Takes Ventriloquism to a Different Level

During the AGT auditions that aired on Tuesday night, June 13th, a young girl walked on to 'The World's Biggest Stage' with a puppet in hand. When asked her name, age, and where she was from, she responded "My name is Brynn Cummings, and I am a ventriloquist. I am 12. And we (referring to her puppet) are from Paw Paw, Michigan."

For those unfamiliar with the town of Paw Paw, it's about 20 miles west of Kalamazoo. When asked what she would do if she won the $1M, Brynn said "I would like to follow in Darci Lynne's footsteps and start touring with a tour bus. And I also want a bearded dragon."

As you will see in the video below, people in crowd instantly started comparing her to Darci Lynne in their minds. Little did they know that Brynn had more than a puppet up her sleeve.

Instead of singing a duet with her puppet, like both of her AGT ventriloquist predecessors, she took ventriloquism to a new level. Although she and her puppet teased the fact that they were going to sing a song, they both agreed it had been "done before." So, they chose to try something new called 'mentalism.' You could instantly see the curiosity spark in the eyes of the judges.

Did Brynn Cummings Wow the Judges?

As if stepping out onto 'The World's Biggest Stage' wouldn't be nerve-racking enough at 12 years old, Brynn took it a step further and approached the judge's table for some up close and personal mentalism. With a few magic tricks, she was able to read her puppet's mind and see through its eyes, and of course, talk out of its mouth.

And, after doing some truly amazing mentalism, (mixed with some good comedy) returned to the stage to receive four 'yeses' from the judges!

If it's true that a picture paints a thousand words, this next image of Brynn and her parents backstage after her '4-Yes' performance paints thousands of them.
