You know how they say you should never drive through standing water? Well, these women did it anyway, and the whole wild moment was caught on video.

The area around Detroit Metro Airport was recently hit hard by record-setting rainfall, with several inches of water falling in just a few hours.

Detroit didn’t just get some rain; Mother Nature absolutely unloaded. Flash floods shut down roads, stranded drivers, and even brought airport traffic to a standstill. But still, some people risked it all.

Instead of turning around like you're supposed to, these ladies went straight into a tunnel completely filled with floodwater near Detroit Metro Airport. There was even a massive waterfall pouring down at the entrance. That alone should have been a giant red flag, but nope, they went for it.

The water was so deep that it started coming into the car, but that didn’t stop them. While the driver was praying out loud, you could hear the passenger telling her to slow down over and over and over. She also kept saying "oh my God" repeatedly throughout the video. Honestly, what else are you going to say in a situation like this?

The craziest part of the video is when they actually make it to the other end of the tunnel. Yes, they made it through without stalling out or breaking down. That water was so deep, I honestly don’t know how they pulled it off. It was either a higher power or the passenger yelling “slow down” every two seconds.

Even though they somehow made it through, it's never worth risking it.
