Grand Blanc residents have been itching for the grand opening of a brand-new high-tech car wash in town. Known for its super cool sleek design and cutting-edge operations, Tommy's Express Car Wash is almost ready to open its doors to residents.

I'm sure by now you've noticed all the construction that's been going on for months along Saginaw Street near The Point in Grand Blanc. Well, it turns out all that construction is for the brand Tommy's Express Car Wash that's about to open its doors. And the best part? They're offering free car washes to celebrate.

According to their Facebook page, you can get a car wash for free this Friday through Sunday. It’s really just their way of showing off what their state-of-the-art car wash can do, and who’s going to say no to a freebie, right?

There’s also a Tommy’s Express Car Wash on Miller Road in Flint, but if you live in Grand Blanc like I do, that’s a bit out of the way.

I’d love to sit here and tell you how awesome Tommy’s Express Car Wash is, but honestly, I’ve never been to one myself. All I know is what I see on social media, and it seems like people really dig the place.

I know some people might feel a little intimidated trying out something new, especially a high-tech car wash like this, but it actually seems super simple. They’ve even put together a cool little video that walks you through exactly how everything works at Tommy’s Express Car Wash.
