If you’ve got yourself an energy drink addiction, heads up Michigan friends, your favorite fuel-providing drink may be going away soon.

There used to be a time, back in the 90s, when you could only find one or two brands of energy drinks on store shelves. But in those early days, they weren’t even recognized as energy drinks, per se. That was until Red Bull came along.

After Red Bull gained traction in the U.S., the company started to mix things up a bit by adding many variations. It started with sugar-free and no-calorie options before adding a variety of flavors.

At this point, it's hard to keep track of all the different flavors they offer. They have so many that they plan to discontinue a few, which are more than likely their least popular or least profitable options.

According to The Street, Red Bull plans to discontinue three flavors in 2025.

Three Red Bull products that will disappear from Michigan shelves this year include the Green Edition Dragon Fruit, Peach Nectarine, and Blueberry Blue Edition. I was a little surprised that Blueberry Blue was going away. I guess I thought it was more popular than it actually was.

While the company is getting rid of three flavors, it's also adding a slew of new ones.

For example, you'll see Caruba Elderflower, Iced Vanilla Berry, Zero Sugar Red Bull with monk fruit, Wild Berries Pink Edition, and more. Some of these flavors were originally available for a limited time, but it looks like they'll be making a permanent comeback.

I used to be hooked on energy drinks until I realized what I was actually putting into my body. It's crazy how terrible they are for you. Why does everything that tastes so good have to be so bad for you?
