
Prime Eight Ten In Flint Officially Closes This Weekend
Prime Eight Ten on Pierson Road in Flint will soon close its doors. The restaurant will serve its final customers this weekend, officially bringing its time in Genesee County to an end.
The announcement was made yesterday, Wednesday, August 26th, 2026, on social media by owner Ray Tyler. As you can imagine, it was not an easy decision to make. Tyler was sure to thank the city of Flint for the memories and support.

There is still some time to visit Prime Eight Ten. The restaurant will close on Saturday, August 29th, 2026. You can enjoy a $3 Thursday tonight, featuring $3 Lemon Drops from 5:00 PM to close.
Per the Prime Eight Ten website, Friday hours are 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Saturday will feature two special themes. One Last Brunch, from noon to 5:00 PM, and One Last Pour, which will run from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
Where is Prime Eight Ten located in Flint?
Prime Eight Ten is at 4418 West Pierson Road. You may remember this location as the former home of Applebee’s before Ray Tyler opened Prime Eight Ten there in 2020. Since then, the restaurant has become a familiar place for many people in the Genesee County area to grab a bite, enjoy a drink, or spend a night out.

We certainly wish Ray Tyler and everyone involved with Prime Eight Ten nothing but the best moving forward. As mentioned above, this was clearly not an easy decision, and making it through six years in the restaurant industry is certainly something worth being proud of and celebrating.
