Upper Peninsula Man Shares Photos of Stunning Michigan Moments
There's no place like Michigan's Upper Peninsula; the proof is in the photos.
Photographer Shannon Kivi of Marquette recently celebrated the 4 year anniversary of 906 Images. To celebrate the photography milestone, he shared some of his favorite photos that he's taken over the years.
While the photos he shared on his Facebook page were some of his favorites, I snagged and included a couple of others in the gallery below.

One of the photos that Kivi shared was one that we shared with you last year and it's my all-time favorite. It shows two brothers jumping from a cliff during the summer and into the chilly Lake Superior waters with the sun rising in the background. The photo really captured a special moment.
To make the photo even more special, Kivi took another photo from the exact same spot during the Upper Peninsula's first early-season winter storm. However, this photo looked entirely different as he captured some monster waves crashing into the cliffs. He then put the photos side by side to show the two extremes.

That's just one example of the many photos that he's shared over the years.
The gallery below shows amazing photos of Tahquamenon Falls, Michigan's fall colors, Lake Superior's powerful waves, and more.
We'd like to wish Kivi a happy 4 year anniversary and continued success.
