
Uh-Oh! Michigan Could Get Smacked by a Winter Storm This Week
If Mother Nature has her way, things could get really ugly in Michigan this week.
"If you were under the strange assumption that winter was nearly over, we're here to tell you that you’re in for a rude awakening. When you think about it, we haven’t even had a real snowstorm yet, as far as mid-Michigan goes.
There's a good chance that this week, a mid-February winter storm could hit parts of Michigan, including Genesee County.
The snowfall we're expected to get is what experts are calling the first real snowstorm of the season.

How Much Snowfall is Expected to See This Week?
It's still early, and the storm itself is still far away, but according to MLive, snow is expected to start rolling in by midday Wednesday across Michigan, cranking up in intensity late Wednesday afternoon into the night.
While we are currently under a Winter Storm Watch, snowfall totals at this point are pretty much a guessing game. However, experts agree that mid-Michigan can expect anywhere from 5 to 9 inches of snow. After looking at some of the weather maps predicting snowfall totals, it looks like there’s a really good chance we could end up with around eight inches by Wednesday night.
As far as temps go, we’ll be lingering in the mid-20s all week.
Keep in mind that it's still early, and this is Michigan, so things could change in a heartbeat. If they do change, hopefully, it's for the better. I mean, I still haven't even shoveled my driveway from the snow we got over the weekend.
