There is nothing more frustrating than watching someone open up their window while driving down the road and toss garbage out like it's no big deal. The fact that some people are so lazy that they'd rather litter than throw away their garbage in a trash can is so infuriating.

I have personally witnessed numerous occasions where people have gone to the extent of opening their car doors while driving and nonchalantly kicking their trash out onto the road. It's behavior like this that shows a complete lack of respect for our communities.

When it comes to tossing fruit out the window, is that really considered littering? I mean, it's biodegradable after all. While that may be true but it's still garbage. So, yes, if you throw fruit out the window, it's considered littering and you will be ticketed and fined.
According to Law Server, “litter” means any of the following: Rubbish, refuse, waste material, garbage, offal, paper, glass, cans, bottles, trash, debris, or other foreign substances.
I know what you're thinking. What's the big deal? An animal will just come along and eat my leftover fruit, right? While you think you're just leaving a tasty treat for an animal, you're actually putting them in danger. That fruit will only draw them closer to the road and one step closer to being hit by a car.
Keep in mind, a banana peel takes two years to decompose, so throw it in the garbage next time.
