Hot Air Balloon Strikes Grand Blanc Township Home

This is definitely not something you see or hear about every day. A Ring camera captured the moment a hot air balloon came down on a home in Grand Blanc Township.

The homeowners were not home when the balloon hit their home, but they saw the damage as soon as they returned. According to ABC 12, Jerry and Demi Thornton then checked their Ring cam and were quite shocked by what they saw.

We understand it was an accident. It wasn't on purpose. Accidents happen, but who would've ever believed in a million years that a balloon would hit our house.

Right! I mean, what are the freaking chances?

The Thorntons did contact the police after the incident. They also shared what happened on social media, and the balloon operator eventually reached out to the family, offering to pay for any and all repairs to the home.

This is definitely a story this couple will be talking about and sharing for years to come. I mean, how could you not have a story to tell when you can say that a hot air balloon once hit your home? It is certainly not something you hear about every day, and I have a feeling this is one experience they will never forget.
