Golf Outing f/ John Daly and Shooter McGavin Moves to Gaylord, MI
517Golf announces new outing location due to overwhelming demand and the ability to secure a Cannabis license.
Early this year, 517Golf announced a golf outing that is set to feature the legendary John Daly and the iconic Shooter McGavin (actor Christopher McDonald.) After an overwhelming response to the event and a quick sellout of teams, 517Golf has announced a change to the venue for the upcoming outing in August.
The Fore 20 Golf Tour featuring John Daly & Shooter McGavin has been moved to Otsego Resort in Gaylord, Michigan. In an email to those signed up to play in the outing, necessary changes to the event location and a couple of other things were announced...
Due to the overwhelming response as well as securing our Cannabis license to sell on the grounds we have moved our event to a much larger facility. Just an hour north we will be going to the Otsego Resort where it has on-site lodging & two 18 hole courses...said Tim Corser of 517Golf.
Other changes announced in the email include:
- The event will also special helicopter tours for spectators to get a birds-eye view of the course during play.
- At the end of the round on Monday, August 28th, John Daly will receive a Key to the City from Gaylord Mayor Todd Sharrard.
- With the addition of another 18 holes, more teams will be able to join this outing.
Each two-man team that joins will receive 18 holes with a cart, a meet & greet with John Daly and Christopher McDonald, and more.
