Every once in a while you see a billboard or sign in Genesee County that makes you do a double-take. Well, we found one in Flint that'll make you do just that.

If you’ve ever stopped at the gas station on Atherton and I-475, you might’ve noticed a handwritten sign. Usually, it’s something like "Cash Only" or "Pump Out of Order." You know, the usual. But this one? Oh, it’s on a whole other level.

In big, bold letters, it says: "No Money Out of Your Bra or Out of Your Socks." Yep, you read that right. It’s the kind of thing that makes you stop, laugh, and wonder what in the world happened to make this necessary. Only in Flint, right?

A buddy of mine saw this hilarious sign while paying for gas and immediately took a picture, then sent it to me. He figured he’d ask the cashier if it was for real or just a joke. Turns out, it was no joke. The cashier said people come in all the time and pull money out of their bras or socks to pay. Apparently, the sock money smells, while the bra money is always sweaty and moist.

I don’t know what’s worse—the fact that it happens often enough to need a sign or being the guy behind the counter who has to handle it all day. Honestly, I think I’ll go with the latter. I can’t imagine dealing with sweaty, stinky money all day.
