A new Mexican restaurant is opening in Genesee County.

El Patrón will be located in Davison and will be the second restaurant from the family of Botanas El Paiza, a popular spot in Lapeer County specializing in authentic Mexican food.

The new spot will be at 7498 Davison Road in Davison. If you want a taste of what's to come, visit Botanas El Paiza at 234 East Third Street in Imlay City.

When will El Patrón open?

No exact opening date has been announced. However, a recent social media post revealed a 'Coming Soon' sign at the location. Renovations and updates are currently underway.

I am super excited to have yet another delicious food option coming to Genesee County. It is always exciting to see new restaurants opening in the area, especially when they bring something new for local food lovers to try.

A full menu has yet to be released for El Patrón, but I am confident the food will be just as delicious as it is at Botanas El Paiza. Bring on the tacos and tostadas for me.

We’ll keep you posted as more details about the grand opening become available. In the meantime, be sure to follow El Patrón by Botanas El Paiza on Facebook for upcoming announcements, updates, and employment opportunities.

I have a feeling this is going to be a popular new spot in Davison
