6 Concerts Coming to Flint in May That You Can Still Get Tickets to
For over 21 years, The Machine Shop in Flint has been the ultimate destination for concerts.
Even though there are so many awesome shows scheduled to take place in Flint throughout 2023, today we're going to look at rock concerts taking place in May.
Here's a list of some of the rock shows coming to Flint this month that you can still get tickets to.
Adelita's Way and Otherwise
Otherwise were part of Banana 101.5's 'End of The World Party' in 2012. They also played at Banana's 20th Birthday Bash at Perani Arena (Dort Financial Center) in 2014.
Tickets are $22 and available here.
Ill Nino will celebrate the 20-year anniversary of 'Confession' on Friday, May 12 with special guests Through Fire, REdeFIND, and Tulip.
This will be the Ill Nino's first show in Flint without original singer Christian Machado who left the band in 2019.
Tickets are $23 in advance and available here. This is an EARLY show with doors opening up at 6 pm.
Bad Wolves will tear up The Machine Shop stage on Saturday, May 20th with special guests For the Fallen Dreams and Inimical Drive.
This will be Bad Wolves' first show in Flint since the departure of singer Tommy Vext who left the band in 2021.
Bad Wolves tickets are $25 in advance and are still available here.
Ugly Kid Joe
Ugly Kid Joe will perform at the Machine Shop for the first time ever on May 24th with Pistols at Dawn.
This is Ugly Kid Joe's first U.S. tour in 25 years. I'm not sure if you'll get another chance to see the band, so don't miss out on this one.
Tickets are $35 and available here.
Giovannie and The Hired Guns
Giovannie and The Hired Guns will bring their 'Tejano Punk Boys Tour' to Flint on May 25th with special guest Letdown.
We've been playing Giovannie and The Hire Guns on Banana 101.5 for well over a year and couldn't be more excited about their first visit to Flint.
Tickets to see this show at The Machine Shop are $18 and are available here.
Cold will celebrate the 20th anniversary of 'Year of the Spider' on Friday, May 26 with special guests Divide the Fall, Awake for Days, and Sygnal to Noise.
Year of the Spider was Cold's most commercially successful album to date. If you were listening to Banana 101.5 in 2003, you heard us play "Stupid Girl" over and over and over again. It was a big song in Flint.
Tickets are $25 in advance and are available here. This is an EARLY show with doors opening up at 6 pm.
