New Chipotle Location Planned For Davison Township

It appears Davison Township will be getting a Chipotle.

According to MLive, the township planning commission has approved a request from Grand Management and Development to build the popular restaurant along M-15.

The popular fast-casual chain opened its Fenton location in May 2026, following the openings of restaurants in both Lapeer and Grand Blanc in 2024.

Jason Kishmish of Grand Management and Development had this to say about the upcoming Genesee County Chipotle location,

It's always exciting to see a new business open in the area, especially when it's a restaurant. Did you know the following three restaurants recently opened in Davison this year?

• Zatar & Olive at 415 North State Road
• Panda Express at 1044 South State Road
• Charcol & Ash at  840 South State Road

Whether we are craving burritos, bowls, or way too many chips and queso, Chipotle always seems to hit the spot. Let's not forget about the guacamole - it is the bomb.

An exact opening date has not been announced just yet. My guess is we could see the new Chipotle open late this year or possibly in 2027. Either way, it will be exciting to welcome another popular dining option to the area. We will definitely keep you updated as more details become available.
