Michigan has three cities ranking in the top 100 when it comes to the best places to live in America!
How do we know this awesome fact? Thanks to Livability. Livability is a publication known for its monthly and yearly lists, "defining the best places to live in America", and they just released their 10th annual "Top 100 Best Places to Live in the U.S." list.
How are the Best Cities in America Chosen?
In order to determine the cream of the crop, Livability teamed up with Applied Geographic Solutions to come up with a multitude of data points used for consideration.
Here are the eight categories they used to measure the data points, along with a couple of factors that were used in the decision-making process:
- Housing & Cost of Living
- Only cities with populations between 75,000 and 500,000 were considered
- Only cities with a median home value of $500,000 or less were considered
With those factors and data points in mind, here's where Michigan cities landed on the list...
