Meijer’s Adorable Mice (With Occupations) Are Taking The Internet By Storm

If you're a pet owner, you probably already know what kind of toys your furry best friend loves the most. For my dog Tulip, she's a big fan of those tug-o-war ropes. Meanwhile, my two cats love those little tiny catnip mice.

For most cats, any of these tiny catnip mouse will do. But, Meijer stores across Michigan decided to step up their cat toy game by offering what they're calling "Mice (with occupation)". I'm not sure why these mice needed jobs, but recently tiktok user @stephgray317 posted a video where someone she knew bought these cat toys.

While I can't find these mice on the Meijer website, they appear to be from this past spring and may be still available in some stores.

Since they may be hard to find currently thanks to their viral fame, I have a few suggestions for more mice with occupations that Meijer should offer in future runs of these toys...

McMouse

Sure, there's already a chef hat mouse included. But, what about the mice who serve us that fast food instead? They deserve respect too.

Farmer Mouse

Speaking of jobs that regular, working people do- what about those who grow the food we enjoy so much? Farm mice aren't just hiding in the barns, sometimes they're working the fields too.

MDOT Mouse

This little guy is causing traffic and helping Governor Gretchen Whitmer "fix the damn roads", so doesn't he deserve to be included?

Esthetician Mouse

She's beauty, she's grace, and she's making sure you look great. Since we're doing mice with occupations, let's celebrate one of the ones who keep our cat moms looking great.

Hear me out, Meijer. I could make dozens of these, and you could just release new occupational mice every few months. Call me, let's chat.
