Hot Dog! The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is Coming to Grand Rapids
West Michiganders will soon get to "relish" a visit from the Wienermobile!
I feel like it's impossible to see the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile and not smile. The iconic vehicle is shaped like a hot dog, and is 27 feet long, 11 feet tall, and weighs 6 tons.
It's been around since 1936, when when Carl Mayer, nephew of Oscar Mayer came up with the giant hot dog car that would travel the streets of Chicago and let everyone know about Oscar Mayer hot dogs.
There are actually six of the huge hot dogs that travel around the country - and we'll see one soon in West Michigan!
