Free speech and religious freedom are on display as the Satanic Temple is set to give the invocation at the Ottawa County Commission.
What is The Satanic Temple-West Michigan?
The Satanic Temple-West Michigan is a religious organization with locations in Holland, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, and Kalamazoo. The Satanic Temple-West Michigan is part of a larger group of The Satanic Temple.

The Satanic Temple-West Michigan to give Invocation at Ottawa Co. Commission
The Satanic Temple-West Michigan was selected by the Ottawa County Commission to take part in the invocation. I guess the lawsuit from Grand Haven Reverend Jared Cramer of St. John's Episcopal Church against the Ottawa County Board of Commissioners late in 2023 for not allowing Cramer to pray at the meetings has opened the doors of prayer to all religions, even Satanists.
There are a lot of mixed feelings about The Satanic Temple-West Michigan doing the invocation in the heavily Dutch Christian county of Ottawa. There seems to be a lot of support for TST with even practicing Catholic SassiestPants saying they "Adore the Stanic Temple. Anyone frightened by them doesn't understand that they are an atheistic/agnostic organization whose primary goals include maintaining the separation of church and state."
