According to WOOD, Halder was arrested for suspected arson on November 11, 2023, for allegedly setting a vacant building on fire. He has now been charged with felony arson for two more fires that investigators allege he was involved in. Investigators used surveillance footage from a gas station to get a warrant for his arrest. Halder is currently in jail and looking at 10 years in prison for one of the fires he allegedly set. The two new charges could add even more time to his prison sentence if convicted on all three charges.
