Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, are the proud parents of a new baby boy born this morning.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex — better known as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are proud parents of the newest addition to the royal family that is seventh in line for the British throne and is Queen Elizabeth II’s eighth great-grandchild. Harry was said to be with his wife when she gave birth at 5:26 a.m. local time. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and is yet to be named.

This is the first child Harry and the former "Suits" actress. They married last year in a chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle. The child is eligible for dual Britsh-U.S. citizenship if the couple chooses to go through the application process in the future.

The new father gushed in an impromptu press conference, "It was amazing. As every father and parent will ever say your baby is absolutely amazing... I’m just over the moon."
