Indiana May Soon Become Right-to-Work State
An article on Michigan Capitol Confidential says news reports out of Indiana are suggesting that Gov. Mitch Daniels and a majority of the Legislature are likely to act quickly on a right-to-work bill that could be introduced this week. Michael LaFaive suggests such a move would have "significant economic consequences for Michigan."
The Right-to-Work debate has been talked about for years in Michigan and has recently picked up steam when Governor Rick Snyder and republican lawmakers openly discussed changing the policy. In his article, La Faive states why this change in Indiana could negatively affect manufacturing and other businesses in Michigan.
