Michigan State Police gave a Grand Blanc teenager their 'SMH Award' after the teen was clocked driving 138 mph on northbound I-75 near Holly Road. WTF?

The unidentified driver reportedly was trying to get home before curfew. Are you kidding me? Is making curfew more important than this teens life or someone else's? This incident right here should be a talking point for parents and teens. IF there is a curfew set, follow it. That being said, tell your kids to call if they are running late. I am not a parent, but I think it is safe to say all parents would take a late kid over a dead kid.

As for the teen driver, he was issued a speeding ticket. He was not cited for reckless driving.
