GOP Action Figures Are More Animated Than Some of the Candidates
If the eleventy-billion GOP debates just haven’t been enough for you, now you can act them out at home — with your very own Republican action figures.
Hero Builders has released dolls depicting Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, Herman Cain and Michele Bachmann, and they’re all for sale right now. But wait! That’s not all.
Pay a little extra and the sweater-vested Santorum doll will spout theology at you, while the Perry likeness comes in two versions — “regular man” Rick Perry, dressed in jeans, and “executive” Rick Perry, sporting a suit. For the right price, he’ll talk to you, too. (But only about two things. That third thing always eludes him.)
While the Cain doll is mercifully silent, he does have an optional “playmate” add-on — proving that sometimes, actions really do speak louder than words.
The dolls can be yours for between $34.95 and $69.95. But you’ll have to build that debate set yourself.
