Flint TV News Legend Bill Harris Announces Retirement [VIDEO]

Don't worry, viewers - he'll still be on FOX66, just not every day.

Bill Harris, who has been anchoring the nightly news in Flint for three decades, announced his semi-retirement on TV and on his Facebook page last night.

To all of my Facebook friends and family...I want to take a moment to share with all of you a personal note. After 47 years as a full time news anchor, I've decided to begin a new chapter in my life. My last regularly scheduled newscast will be Friday, May 31 on FOX66 News at 10. 😌

As he stated in the video, he will be back in a smaller capacity doing news stories. Well deserved retirement, Bill. Enjoy your time off!
