Flint-Produced Chevy Silverado to Be Featured During the Super Bowl

The Flint-built Chevy Silverado will be featured in a commercial airing during this weekend's Super Bowl.

According to WNEM, the ad will feature the heavy-duty Silverado built in Flint. The light-duty version was named the North American International Auto Show Truck of the Year earlier this month.

The commercial will tell a story about a man, his truck and a new bachelor in town. It follows a cattle rancher as he takes his stud-bull to a romantic rendezvous across town.

GM started producing the trucks at Flint assembly earlier this month.
