Flint Police Release Sketch of Suspect in Girl’s Abduction

Flint Police have released a sketch of a person suspected of abducting a 12-13 year-old girl early Wednesday. Police said the girl was walking to school just after 6:30 a.m. near University and Cottage Grove, when a man in a black truck came up and forced her into the vehicle.

According to Mlive, the suspect took the girl to a wooded area near Atwood Stadium where he attempted to sexually assault her. She was able to get away and received help from an area business. Police say she was not seriously injured.

The suspect is described as 6 feet tall, slender build, and is in his late 30's or early 40's. The truck, besides being clean and black, also had large rims.
