The Flint Police Activities League (Flint Pal) have announced the development of a new football league. The league will be open to all Flint kids between the ages of 7 and 12. A cheer leading program is also available for kids between 5 and 12-years-old.

The new football league will be a part of the Genesee County Football League and joins teams from Davison, Mayville, Lakeville, Lapeer and Goodrich. A news release says conditioning for the league starts immediately and will be held on Mondays through Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. until school starts. Games will be held on Saturdays with home games at Atwood Stadium.

Cost for participation is $75. Players must provide documentation of a sports physical and their birth certificate at time of registration. Forms for registering are available at the Haskell Youth Center and on the Flint PAL website here.
