Karen Weaver hasn't been the Mayor of Flint for long, but she is already talking to the residents to figure out the pulse of the city.

Tuesday evening at the Hasselbring Community Center, Mayor Weaver outlined some of her major goals for the city.

The biggest hurdles include the water issues, public safety, and economic opportunities.

Weaver was happy with the initial turnout, and she announced her plans to have a monthly town hall meeting throughout her first year in office.

Weaver is trying to encourage residents to share their concerns with her, so that a problem may be found..
