Flint firefighters responded to five fires at vacant buildings during a four-hour span over the weekend.

According to the Detroit News, the fires were reported on the city's east side on Saturday night. Other area departments had to be brought in to assist with extinguishing the blazes.

Two of the fires were at commercial structures and three were at residential buildings. Only one person was injured in a fire that destroyed a home believed to be occupied by squatters.
