The Flint-built Chevy Silverado has been named North American Truck of the Year at the 2014 North American International Auto Show.

According to the Detroit News, the 2014 Silverado marks the latest redesign for the second best-selling pickup truck. While just an evolution of the previous design, the new Silverado has won praise for its new features. The Silverado previously won the award in 2007.

GM's Corvette also took home the award for North American Car of the Year. It's the first sweep of the awards for an automaker since 2010 when Ford won Car and Truck of the Year.
