Music in the Parks

The outdoor summer concert series held in the City of Flint parks and Genesee County parks continues with a variety of music from jazz to gospel.

Tonight's feature will be a Gospel Music Celebration with special guest Nanette Benman with the Flint Jubilee Chorale and Flint Community Gospel Singers.

Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of rousing spiritual hymns.

A performance major at Kentucky State University, Benman auditioned and won a spot in a touring concert choir and was a featured soloist. Her music embodies a soulful style, with a strong crossover appeal.
