With one out of every two men and one out of every three women facing a cancer diagnosis in his or her lifetime, cancer touches nearly every American family. The American Cancer Society invites everyone to participate in the 24-Hour Relay For Life of Clio fundraiser, June 21 and 22, 2013
More than just a fundraising event, the Relay for Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.
It is expected that more than 150 participants will rally for the Clio Relay for Life.
Key activities include:
Silent Auction June 21 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. and June 22 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
June 21
2 p.m., Opening Ceremony
6 p.m., Cancer Survivor Victory Lap and Caregiver Celebration
11 p.m., Smores Contest
June 22
11 a.m., Relay Idol
12 p.m., Fight Back Ceremony
1:30 p.m., Closing Ceremony
