Convicted Killer Sharee Miller of Flint is Focus of New ’20/20′ Episode
Sharee Miller, the convicted killer in one of the first internet-related murder cases, will once again be the focus of a television news program, and according to reports, she's speaking up.
Miller was convicted of second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in connection to her husband's death in 2000, in a case that shocked not only the Flint community but the entire country.
'
Bruce Miller was found dead on November 8, 1999, at his business, B&D Auto Parts in Vienna Township as a result of a shotgun wound to his neck. It was determined through investigations that Miller died at the hands of Jerry Cassaday, a man from Missouri that Sharee Miller had met online in a chat room and began an affair with.
Cassaday drove to Flint to confront Bruce Miller believing both that Sharee was pregnant with his child and that she was suffering abuse at the hands of Miller. Through a series of lies, Cassady believed Sharee needed saving.
It was determined at her trial that she instigated the plan to have Cassaday travel to Michigan to kill her husband and make it look like a robbery. Once Cassaday found out that Sharee was simply "using" him, he took his own life, but not before leaving a trail of evidence of their affair and a letter explaining everything.
