CMU Partnering With Two Michigan Based Companies
During the President of CMU's State of the University Address, President George Ross said he wants to focus on student leadership and building strong partnerships with employers. CMU is developing a core group of businesses to work closely with to help build student leaders and recruit workers from the university.
Central Michigan University's partnerships with Ford Motor Company and Quicken Loans will do just that. These partnerships will allow students access to internships at two large Michigan based companies, and allow the companies first pick at recruiting their students.
This partnership is just the beginning of CMU's plan to partner with core businesses to better the education and work experience for their students.
