Yesterday, Bentley Community Schools posted a status on their Facebook page addressing some photos that were posted on Facebook. The photos showed students walking the hallways and sitting in the cafeteria, wearing Confederate flag hoodies.
Needless to say, the comments were hateful and nasty.
The message indicated that the students, on the day the photos were taken, were asked to remove their hoodies, ending the statement with, "please don’t add fuel to the fire of hate. My hope and my ask is that we choose to use social media to be a positive force in the world."
