Reports are coming in that icon Carlos Santana collapsed on stage during his Pine Knob show tonight.

According to Fox 2's Roop Raj, the singer passed out while in the middle of his set during the Tuesday night performance. Medical personnel rushed to the stage as concerned fans watched in shock as EMS tended to the legendary singer.

Gary Fisher and his wife were in attendance at the show and said the whole thing was tough to watch.

"It looked very serious. He was gripping his chest and then collapsed backward", Fisher told us. "There was a medical team immediately and it looked very serious. They quickly put up a black cloth to prevent people from seeing and taking pictures and then he was escorted off the stage with assistance."

Fisher said that the singer was about 45 minutes into his set when he collapsed.

The 74-year-old Sanatana was performing at Pine Knob with the opening act Earth, Wind, & Fire as part of his MIraculous Supernatural Tour.

There is currently no word on the singer's condition, but fans in attendance were asked to pray for Santana, who is receiving serious medical attention per Click on Detroit.
