On Thursday, the Blue Ribbon Committee on Governance released their report on how the City of Flint government operates and where improvements can be made. According to ABC 12, several recommendations were made. One would be to change council member terms from four years to two years and another would be enacting a hybrid form of council-manager government with an elected mayor. Both could turn up in front of voters on the November ballot. Emergency Manager Darnell Earley, who put the committee made up of mostly Flint residents together, wants all concerned voters to study the report not that its available.
