A free family event showcasing the community, local artists and Flint's Master Plan is happening this weekend.

Put on by The Greater Flint Arts Council and the City of Flint, the free, festival-like event will happen in and around the Dome behind City Hall on Saturday, June 29th from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m.

Artists from each of Flint's nine wards will be featured. They will present and exhibit the work they have created with residents of their wards which will include poetry, original theatre, drumming, beautification and more. There will also be food and activities for children.
