Could an arena soccer team soon be joining the Flint Firebirds at Perani Arena? It's under consideration according to ABC 12. Just this week, Perani hosted the World Minifootball Federation Arena Soccer World Cup and two owners of arena soccer teams said they didn't "think we'd be standing here if that idea weren't in place." Perani General Manager Jeremy Torrey said he was happy with the crowds that came out and thought the event shows "what we were trying to do with the future of the arena and what we're trying to bring to the community."
